This camera is durable and easy for little ones to use, but the picture quality is LOUSY! I’d recommend buying an inexpensive digital for the little one to use, or even passing on your old digital camera and buying yourself a new one. I would not buy this again.

Please don’t waste your money on this. my 4yr old was already using my CanonSD-10mp and was very comfortable using it w/o even dropping it once. We brought her this for christmas and she didn’t use it after 10 mins. the picture quality is really bad. the batteries needed replacement every often. we returned it. i am gifting my CanonSD to her and buying a DSLR for myself.

This doesn’t take very good pictures except in bright light. It does have a flash but that doesn’t matter.
I would have gotten something else for the price.

It is easy for a child to take pics with. And her pictures come out as if an adult did them. It is very durable, it can get thrown and did not break.Very easy for a child to operate.And I think the price was not that bad.I would recommend this product.

We purchased this for our 3 and 5 year old daughters and it is a huge hit. They took over 400 picutes (all on the internal memory) in the first day. They have shot everything from themselves, the tv screen, to our cats.
The quality of the pictures themselves is not great, but that was not the purpose of the toy. It is extremely easy to use, turn on, snap pictures, etc and our kids can use it with no assistance from us. It also has a built in flash which I actually was not expecting but is a positive. It also seems quite durable and has taken a few falls already.
If your intention is for your 3 year old to take amazing, frameable pictures then go get a DSLR and pray they don’t break it but if you want this to get your child interested in taking pictures and interested in virtually everything around them then get this toy.
